These terms govern your membership and use of the Escape Boat Club platform and boat club services. By joining Escape Boat Club, you agree to the following conditions.
By creating a Escape Boat Club account or purchasing a membership, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to be bound by these terms. You must also hold the required certifications (RYA Powerboat Level 2 and VHF Radio licence) before making any vessel bookings.
Escape Boat Club is a private members' boat club operating on The Solent, Hampshire. Members may book maintained RIB vessels for recreational use, subject to availability, current certification status, and compliance with these terms and all applicable maritime regulations.
Members are responsible for maintaining valid RYA Powerboat Level 2 and VHF Radio licences, completing pre-departure safety checks, reporting any vessel damage or incidents promptly, and ensuring all passengers comply with safety requirements including wearing lifejackets.
Escape Boat Club offers Weekday (£49/month), Full (£99/month), and Pay-As-You-Go (£35/trip) membership tiers. Subscriptions are billed monthly and may be cancelled with 30 days' notice. Fuel is charged separately at current marina rates. Refunds are not available for unused bookings unless cancelled within the cancellation window.
Escape Boat Club maintains fully insured vessels and requires members to hold adequate personal marine insurance. Escape Boat Club's liability is limited to the value of the membership fees paid. Members accept full responsibility for safe navigation during any booking period.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. For queries, contact us at [email protected].
